Weekly press release
by Admin April 19, 2024Asian cities widely accepting SmallFace Records’ artist’s new music capsule.
We spoke to the boss today, five days after the release of Deraa’s music capsule, its progress, and promotional plans.
SF reporter: We noticed that the music capsule has gained more streams in Indonesia, China, and Nigeria. What do you think is the reason for this exception and acceptance?
Mr. Andy: I would say quality. We don’t need to force people when they hear what they like to respond to it. These are two songs with very deep meanings in their lyrics, especially “Mask On”. Most people have related to this music based on how the song reflects on them entirely.
SF reporter: Do you think intense marketing should be done in these cities already showing progress?
Mr. Andy: To be honest, our marketing is not limited to geographical areas; we are trying to impact the world and we are taking it one step at a time. Yes, definitely, sometimes you want to pay attention to cities responding with great support, and this is where our prospective tours and international events will come in.
SF reporter: Do you think the lyrical meaning of “Mask On” and “Road Boy” reflects anything about Deraa’s personality?
Mr. Andy: He’s the creator, and most times how you know a good artist is by how solid they can express themselves through their music. Deraa is an incredible example of that, and we are very excited about how people responded to his story.
SF Reporter: Do you think Asian communities love Deraa?
Mr. Andy: To be very honest, they do. I have seen how they respond to his sound, his level of communication, and brand, and it speaks a lot about how global our movement is becoming.
SF Reporter: How impressed are you with the producer Soundpure on this project?
Mr. Andy: The response has been massive. That is what you get out of commitment, passion, and consistency. I am very proud of his work and I’m sure he’ll go places.
SF Reporter: On the first two days of release, “Mask On” generated over 100+ TikTok videos. Does that warrant a focus point of promotion on the track?
Mr. Andy: We allow people to enjoy these songs as much as we prioritize marketing; we just want people to have fun. “Mask On” is a very brilliant song that connects to people in different ways. Watching people perform it differently is really inspiring, and I’m sure with time we will touch more lives through it.
SF Reporter: Thank you, Mr. Andy, for talking to us. Enjoy your weekend.
