Last weekend, Breastfeeding Fest 2025 Jakarta—organized by Mom Uun, returned to Tribeca Park at Central Park Mall Jakarta. As Indonesia’s largest gathering celebrating pregnancy, breastfeeding, and family life, the festival offered an inclusive, free-to-enter space packed with talk shows, parenting workshops, wellness booths, and heartwarming performances by celebrity parents. It was lively, educational, and moving—drawing crowds of parents, caregivers, and baby‑friendly advocates.

At SmallFace Records, we were thrilled to attend the fest as part of the audience. We had the chance to meet inspiring individuals, from healthcare professionals and breastfeeding advocates to fellow parents and community leaders. These conversations gave us fresh insight into community needs and the festival’s role as a hub for support, education, and unity.

Event Analysis:

Breastfeeding Fest serves as more than a celebration—it’s a public health platform aligned with initiatives by UNICEF and WHO promoting exclusive breastfeeding rates in Indonesia, which rose from 52 % in 2017 to 66.4 % in 2024 . By offering free access, practical talks, and peer connection, the festival nurtures both awareness and actionable support. It helps normalize breastfeeding in public, strengthens parenting networks, and encourages institutional changes like better workplace policies and community lactation support systems.

Our Experience:

When SmallFace Records “turned up” at the Fest, we felt the energy of collective purpose. From the opening talk shows to sections where audiences could ask breastfeeding experts, the atmosphere was warm and empowering. Meeting motivated parents, thoughtful organizers, and even catching performances by Lyodra on Saturday and Anggi Marito on Sunday—both infusing the event with art and comfort—was inspiring. We left feeling excited about the possibility that one day one of our own artists may be part of such an uplifting community event.
