Good morning Mr, Andy we admire the progress your company has experienced the last one year, how does it feel being the bedrock of it, do you find it mostly fun or challenging?

Mr Andy :

The indutsry is pretty amazing but it's fun and challenging at the same time especially achieving big goals, but for it's fun and challenging.

Interviewer :

Small Face Records is gaining attention by the day, and one of your company's most outstanding aspect is the creative side, please what's special about your creativity as a company that makes it so unique

Mr Andy :

My team and my artist has played a strong role in the creative department of the company always going out there.

Interviewer :

Deraa so far is your only artist the industry is aware of, are there plans of bringing in other talents soon

Mr Andy :

Yea that's why we are a company we are building, and deraa is also part of us now, in the nearest future we would bring in other talents for sure

Interviewer :

Deraa has also spent one year with your company, what're the positives & negatives to take away

Mr Andy :

I will be on the positive side tho it has not been easy, but for the past year I will always pick up the postives, we have done one year and by the grace of God we will do another year

Interviewer :

Deraa's Diary was your company's debut project, does the progress motivate you?

Mr Andy :

The progress of the project motivates me, not just me but the whole team, and you know it's the first album project of the company, and obvoisly the progress has motivated me to do more

Interviewer :

Are there exciting plans for Deraa's Music we should be excited about?

Mr Andy :

Yea theres a lot coming, theres a lot planned maybe I cant share all with you now but;we have an official video of our biggest project coming, we may also have another project coming in some time

Interviewer :

What're the special strengths of your company & her members that we're yet to see

Mr Andy :

First I will say God, then the team members and the artist, the love & the company is built and operates like a family, so the the togetherness is our strength

Interviewer :

Do you think the music industry is very challenging or fun for a starter

Mr Andy :

Its quite challneging, but when you love what you do its gonna be fun, if you are looking at it only from the businees point of view its gonnna be really challenging, I love what I do, for me music is fun

Interviewer :

Do you prefer the early era of the afro beat industry or this current exhibition/generation

Mr Andy :

I prefer the new era, we cant go back, you always have to move forward in life, the early era was kind of limited, but now we are reaching out farther on the map

Interviewer :

What's your opinion on big budget spendings, do you think it's killing the industry or making it better?

Mr Andy :

I think it makes it better now cos everything has changed, you need to step up your game, for me I don't think its killing the industry but its making it more wide

Interviewer :

Is there any figure or idol that inspired the formation & activities of this company?

Mr Andy :

Trust me I don't really have any, I will always say God, my business iq and my team & artist

Interviewer :

Small Face Records is obviously running most of its operations in Nigeria, has localizing your company helped or stressed more

Mr Andy :

It hasn't stressed cos it's my home, and you have to start from home, and everthing we do starts from there.

Interviewer :

Are there other international organizations or companies Small Face Records may be working on collaborating with?

Mr Andy :

Yes we are open for international collaborations, we are working on some and it's something we would make known to the audience when its time.

Interviewer :

Is the company open or making plans for tour activities & collaborations

Mr Andy :

Yes we are open for collaborations and for tour, we have announcemnts coming regards to that

Interviewer :

Small Face Records shares an outstanding attribute of hiring & implementing theirs activities with the younger generation, is there a special hunch/reason for this?

Mr Andy :

The company has great passion for young talents, we can definitely hire anyone and the age is not the problem, but we might be focused on the younger gifts yet to be harnnessed properly

Interviewer :

Small Face released a featured track Who can do it with Deraa in April, are we expecting more projects like this in the future?

Mr Andy :

Its been very magnificent, "who can do it" is actually is a wonderful project, a surprise I never saw coming on my birthday my team came up with, and since its progress has been good We are a big family & a collective body, so our strength is in our varios contributions.
Definitely we have one coming soon, just keep your ear open and speaker ready, we have more exciting projects like that coming

What do you admire mostly in your company?

Mr Andy :

Everyone who has made an effort to make the company what we are today, so I will say my team, theres nothing to admire without them

Interviewer :

Are there plans for the ember rush or is Small Face focusing on next year already?

Mr Andy :

Anyhting is possible, we still have few things to roll out before the year ends, tho our big focus is for next year.

Interviewer :

Your sound as a company is exceptional, does the company hold one professional sound engineer or is the performance collective?

Mr Andy :

We are a big family & a collective body, so our strength is in our varios contributions

Interviewer :

Indigo Child is a beautiful project explaining many things that connects to a lot of human, what's the inspiration behind it & how has releasing it been for the past few weeks

Mr Andy :

I will say the inspiration behind the song has to come from the creator of the song Deraa, when you listen to the song you will know it connects to a lot of human, and the progress has been huge, few weeks after the release we have been doing numbers and we are rooting for more

Interviewer :

Do you think upcoming artist don't get enough support & attention?

Mr Andy :

Yea and not just an artist, anything you do in life as an upcomer you will find it difficult to get support, most talents out there don't get the support they need, the industry should work on a structure that supports them, I think its normal for everyone to focus on the big artist, but there are still great talents there not discovered

Interviewer :

Does Small Face have a prospective plan to help the numerous talents in our community on the long run

Mr Andy :

Yes we do

Interviewer :

Is the company planning any community service work soon

Mr Andy :

Yes that has been our thing, we plan on doing something during the closure of this year like we always do

Interviewer :

Finally is the internship department of your company open to locals for free?

Mr Andy :

Ofcourse its always open, most of our hirings come from that department
